First of all, sorry for the darkness I’m leaving you in for 24 seconds in the beginning here, I didn’t notice this until after I had finished exporting, which took seven (!!) hours so I figured 24 seconds of nothing vs seven more hours…
And also, please excuse the state of my fingers, my hands are extremely dry and it’s suddenly cold, add to that loads of cleaning and washing and yardwork, et voilà!
Anyway, lets begin, shall we?
This I must admit, is probably the most boring part of the whole picture, the highly repetitive task of flowers and leaves. Really, feel free to skip most of it.
Stuff used on day one:
Prismacolor Premier pencils and Faber-Castell Perfection pencil eraser
- Yellow Ochre PC 942
- Jasmine PC 1012
- Cream PC 914
- Sepia PC 948
- Putty Beige PC 1083
- Limepeel PC 1005
- Moss Green PC 1097
- Slate Grey PC 936
Tips and tricks:
- Feel free to choose your own colors, you don’t have to go with yellow. I suggest think ahead as to what you envision it will look like in the end, such as what color will the hair be? If you are going for blonde hair, yellow flowers might not really offer enough pizazz due to low contrast, for blondes I’d suggest pink, red or purple, blue would work great as well
- If you choose to go with cool toned flowers (like blue), also choose a cooler green for the leaves, it will look very weird otherwise
End result for day one:
Telling you right now that I’ll be skipping tomorrow but we’ll continue this on Thursday 🙂 We’ll tackle the skin next.
